[AIHA Membership] Elections

Aloha Members,
As the Past President of our local section,and the chair of the nominating
committee,  I have the responsibility of conducting our election of
officers for the AIHA Hawaii Local Section this year.    Please let me know
if you are interested to volunteer with us.  As I am completing my third
year, I can tell you, that it is a rewarding and fun experience.  Please
consider running for an Officer position.  You can write an e-mail or call
on my cell listed below if you have questions.   I have copied from our
By-Laws, what is said about these positions.  Our Officer meetings are
usually once a month for about an hour or less.  We are looking for
volunteers for the following positions.

President -elect

Treasurer

Director



Section 8. President-Elect.
The President-Elect automatically shall succeed the President in the office
upon completion of the President's term of office. The President-Elect also
shall perform any other duties delegated by the Executive Committee or
assigned by the President. The President-Elect shall serve a one-year term
of office.

Section 10. Treasurer.
The Treasurer shall receive, disburse, and be custodian of all funds of the
Hawaii Local Section.  All disbursements shall be made upon authorization
of the President.  The treasurer shall be responsible for the preparation
of an annual budget as well as prepare monthly financial reports
summarizing the income and expenditures for the past month.  The Treasurer
shall present an annual financial report at the Annual Meeting of the
membership. The Treasurer shall serve a two-year term of office.
